NEWS: Rumor has it that Disney has officially reserved the domain, “www.maleficentmovie.com” but, as you will find out, it remains empty. For those of you who don’t know, Tim Burton has set his sights on a remake of the 1959 Disney CLASSIC (and my favorite movie) “Sleeping Beauty,” however, instead of retelling the story in his own image, he has reportedly decided to go another way: focusing instead on telling the story from the point of view of Maleficent, the movie’s antagonist. Althought I’m pretty sure he’d probably just cast Helena Bonham Carter as Maleficent, I hope he will actually take some time into thinking about casting… This is a really delicate movie, and upsetting the balance could prove fatal. The characters need to be JUST RIGHT. Which is hard to come by, nowadays. But, we shall see!
You sound like a very dedicated fanboy. I am glad I’m not the only one on Tumblr. I hope the best for this movie too. It’s one of my favorite Disney movies that doesn’t have the words Pixar before it.
